Thanks to the ongoing commitment of volunteer physicians within hospital teams motivated to host trainees, SHARE has been able to support the development of true operational autonomy for many trained interventional cardiologists. <\/p>\n\n<p>These interventional cardiologists, as well as catheterization laboratory staff who benefited from these initiatives, not only acquired new medical skills, but were also able to adapt and apply them in their home countries, taking into account an environment very different from where they were trained.
