Sharing Medical Knowledge
Over the years, the SHARE association has played a crucial role in the medical training of young interventional cardiologists by developing highly targeted programs focused on interventional cardiovascular clinical practice. Thanks to the ongoing commitment of volunteer physicians within hospital teams motivated to host trainees, SHARE has been able to support the development of true operational autonomy for many trained interventional cardiologists.
These interventional cardiologists, as well as catheterization laboratory staff who benefited from these initiatives, not only acquired new medical skills, but were also able to adapt and apply them in their home countries, taking into account an environment very different from where they were trained. All of this has made it possible to substantially improve the level of care provided to patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases in their countries.
The SHARE association has established partnerships with renowned centers of excellence in interventional cardiovascular education, ensuring that the training programs are both clinically relevant and of high quality.
It is together, step by step, by focusing on a few sub-Saharan African countries, that we are building better local care prospects for many patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases.
Your support — both financial and moral — is essential to us, and we thank you for what you have done, are doing, and will do for the ultimate benefit of far more patients in sub-Saharan Africa than we can imagine!
